What Men Want

…and never want to leave!

There’s several myths I would like to shatter about “being the woman men adore”. Many say there is big confusion between the sexes, and a lot of time that is true. But not all the time.

Heres some things that men cannot resist in a woman:

 I know this sounds over simplistic, but really, it IS the simple things that make a big difference, and the good news is they are free.

Listen.

Speaking as a guy here, one of the things that really bugs me is being contradicted all the time. Not some of the time of course, as in healthy debate, but men do like to feel powerful and in control. Of themselves.

Nothing here has anything to do with dominating a woman, or making her less than him. In no way.

The irony is, that women say that men don’t listen! And they are right a lot of the time as well. We are the born “fixers” and “make it right ‘ers” and we really mean no harm, it’s just the way we are wired!

Anyway, back to listening….

Men rarely get listened to, at least not beyond a few minutes. Most of the time a few minutes is all men really need. But since most men hate to be rejected, it is easier for them to keep conversations superficial. They expect most women to want to talk, rather than be willing to listen.

But all we need to feel good, in a fairly healthy guy, is a few minutes of being listened to.. and we are done!

Particularly, if you listen with your eyes girls. It fascinates us men, and makes you rather irresistable!

Dress.

Men, no matter how much we are not “supposed” to be, are visual. That means we like what we SEE first.

Everyone knows that men are visual. However, women often forget just how helpless guys are to what they see. The right visual stimulation can hypnotize a man. Women hear this and often become fearful. They mistakenly believe that men only notice perfect women.

Forget perfect! If you really want to be noticed by men, think colours, dresses and curves. Men basically like any woman who has that soft and cuddly quality. It’s not that men don’t find women attractive in trousers, the just don’t notice them as easily. It just does not catch their eye like long hair or earrings do.

Conversely, a powerfully dressed woman (think lots of red), makes most men think of sex, or not notice her at all. She may have a soft side, but if men can’t see it, they don’t know it exists. The more feminine (softer) a woman dresses, the more men she will attract.

Smile. This is a lot more powerful than you might realise! A woman who smiles makes it easier for a man to approach her by conveying an attitude of confidence and playfulness. Since women are fearful of giving men the wrong impression, they frequently guard their smiles. While that approach is safer, it inadvertently sends the wrong message that she is overly cautious bacause they have been hurt.

In addition, it is a sign of acceptance. Men often need a signal that it is safe to approach a woman, because they hate being rejected (unless they are intoxicated!)- and I don’t know many women who find this attractive! Really!

But back to smiling for a moment, I have seen someone who was not “beautiful”, by societies standards, who smiled and it took 10 years of her, she literally, “lit up”. And it was the smile that made her beautiful.

Not the botox, or the designer clothes, the smile- so simple.
