he is a selfish man he does not want you back he wants to put you in stand by you know for later
He probally is going through that stage were he misses you and wants you back. And he is frustrated because he probally doesn’t want to come out and tell you. And he feels like you are putting him off by saying you have too go.

I personally think you should be the agressor and ask him ” You broke up with m (if he did) why are you calling me, why do you want to know what time i finish, and if your going to give me attitude dont bother calling me, im trying to get over you and you calling me doesn’t really help”
He probably just wants to score some.
Check the caller I.D. Don’t answer the call if it is from your ex-boyfriend.
I think its better to just move on and not ruminate about the past. I use to be that person and beat myself up pretty bad.
